Geometry Dash Lite Controls: Mouse, Keyboard & Touch

Use click or Space, restore keyboard focus, and understand touch, fullscreen and restart controls on this page.

Updated

01 Mouse: menus and jumping

Use the left mouse button to select items in the game menu. During a run, a click triggers a jump. Begin with separate presses and release between them so you can judge each input. The website does not change or remap the game’s controls.

02 Keyboard: focus before Space

Space triggers a jump in the desktop game after the player has focus. If Space scrolls the page or activates a website button, click inside the game first and try again. Clicking Restart or Fullscreen can move focus out of the game, so click back into it before the next jump. No additional keyboard shortcuts are promised here.

03 Touch: try a short tap

On a device that can run the game, try tapping inside the player. Keep your finger away from approaching obstacles. Touch gameplay is not verified across phones, and an older WebGL game can fail or run slowly on some devices. Landscape is optional and gives more horizontal room; the game keeps its proportions with space around it when needed. The site never locks your orientation.

04 Fullscreen and exit

Select Fullscreen on the website toolbar. When supported, the button changes to Exit fullscreen; desktop browsers also generally use Escape to leave. If fullscreen is unavailable, the page shows a message and the inline player stays usable. Fullscreen does not change jump timing or add game controls.

05 Restart, close and returning to a hidden tab

Restart game creates a new game session and ends the current attempt. Close game removes the player and stops its downloads. After a minute in a hidden tab, the page also closes the game to free memory. Returning then requires Play now again. These controls do not pause or save an attempt.
